Dressage Winnipeg is pleased to announce the 2018 Dressage Winnipeg Awards Gala will once again be held at Elmhurst Golf and Country Club. Join us for an exciting evening of dinner, drinks, a fabulous silent auction and awards giving to our deserving horses and riders. Our sister club Westman Dressage in cooperation with Cadora is pleased to announce “Build a Better Dressage Horse with Stephen Clarke” coming to you October 19-21, 2018, at the Keystone Center, in Brandon, MB.
Stephen Clarke is a world-renowned Dressage judge, former competitor, and trainer. With 5 National Championship titles to his name, Stephen Clarke is now travelling worldwide, concentrating on judging and training. As an FEI 5* Dressage Judge, he is equipped to teach and advise all levels of the sport. Stephen is a master at choosing suitable exercises for each horse and rider combination, with his priority being relaxation, and physical and mental well being of the horse. His calm, consistent approach makes it easy for riders and auditors to discuss issues, and ask questions.
Included in the weekend are an evening with Stephen, a banquet, and of course two full days of auditing rides! Stay tuned for the full schedule. Information for rider applicants, and tickets for auditors will be available soon at www.cadora.caand www.westmandressage.ca.
Applications for the Stephen Clarke clinic will open in May. A YouTube video will be required with all applications.

Dressage Winnipeg would like you to join us for a BBQ after the last class each Saturday of the 2018 DW shows! Rain or shine, come enjoy good food and friendship as we share a meal together. Please meet at the picnic tables by the canteen, weather permitting. The BBQ will be hosted in Barn A with the horses should it rain. Kindly bring your favourite dish and consider bringing a chair. Everyone is welcome! See you there.

Dressage Winnipeg was pleased to host our first ever Wine and Cheese Freestyle Night! Our sponsor PineRidge Equine Park graciously provided their beautiful arena for the event. 11 horses and riders danced to music and entertained about 150 spectators. The event was a great success and DW plans to host another freestyle night in the future.
