Rider Spotlight - February 2024
Each month, Dressage Winnipeg will highlight one of our members.
Paige Quick
Paige Quick is an adult amateur who has been riding for 8 years at West Wind Stables with her coach Chris Dolinski. Paige had the pleasure of receiving 3 High Point awards for both training and 1st level, as well as a DW scholarship for last year’s competition season with her first horse Snap Dragon. Paige has been riding Snap for 2 years, and has owned him for almost a year!
Not only does Paige love to ride, but she is planning on doing her Equestrian Canada instructor evaluation in a few months in addition to coaching the summer camp at her barn. Outside of riding, Paige volunteers with Prairie Strides as an assistant instructor teaching children with special needs how to ride. She also works with adults with special needs by facilitating a connection between them and the horses through grooming.
This summer Paige will continue to show First level with Snap, and hopes to debut a second level test!
