Katherine Page Katherine Page is a U25 Grand Prix rider born and raised in Headingley, MB. Having grown up surrounded by horses, she started riding before she could walk. She participated in Pony Club up to C1 level, before turning her focus to dressage. Katherine currently trains with Grand Prix rider Pia Fortmuller and splits her time between Pia’s Dancing Feet Dressage outside Calgary, Alberta and Headingley, Manitoba. She competed her first FEI Jr test in 2017 with her Swedish warmblood gelding, Trinity Mariner. In 2019 she acquired her KWPN mare Cimmiek, with whom she competed very successfully at the Young Rider level in Wellington, Florida, including scores over 70%, placings in the Florida International Youth Championships, and qualifying for NAYC 2020, which was unfortunately cancelled. In 2021 Katherine and Cimmiek moved on to the Open Small Tour level, achieving top placings at CDI’s at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival, Jim Brandon Equestrian Centre and World Equestrian Centre-Ocala. In 2022, Katherine travelled to California with her 3 year old homebred Hanoverian mare, Flirtation EC. Upon the retirement of Cimmiek in 2023, Katherine had the opportunity to acquire Challenger, a Westfalen gelding. Together they have successfully been competing at the U25 level in California, Oregon, Washington, BC and Alberta, including becoming the RMSJ Dressage Championship Series U25 Grand Prix Champion. In addition to their competition success this year, Katherine and Challenger also had the opportunity to participate in Dressage Demonstrations at the 2023 Spruce Meadows Masters, along with Pia and the Dancing Feet Dressage team, they introduced the public to the sport with a “through the levels” demonstration. Katherine also competed Flirtation very successfully at the FEI 4 Year Old level. Katherine’s goals are to continue to gain experience at the Grand Prix level, while developing her young horses through the FEI Young Horse classes, with a focus on creating sound, happy horses for the FEI ring.
